I’ve tried to blog before, and sort of allowed myself to fail at it, in no small part because I picked such narrow subject matter–racing bikes–that it wasn’t possible to generate enough interesting content to keep it up. Maybe it’s my own problem, because I always imagined that my race commentary wasn’t possibly interesting enough that people would want to read it. It probably wasn’t.

So I’m starting something bigger and broader. My hope is that a less limited subject matter will lend itself to a more interesting blog. I’ll still write about cycling, of course, but I’m going to try to write about science, my research, music, and more. Who knows if it will be a success or not.

Anyway, here goes. I’m putting the finishing touches on the interface right now. As soon as that’s done, I’ll start this thing.
